My name's Reese.

I maintain the Lodes & Lanterns blog, resources, and tools. I'm an experienced software engineer with a bachelor's degree in computer science. I've created a lot of software tooling over the years. I'm also a game developer who makes pixel art animations, environments, and other shader-based visual effects. Sometimes I make weird electronic music. As a nerd-by-hobby, I go through cycles in which I binge different types of fiction and media, depending on my mood. My interests include role-playing games, obviously, and urbanism.
